Family time in winter
The idyllic mountain world all in white.
The snow-covered winter wonderland in our region is not just a romantic idyll. It is also a snow-sure ski area and therefore a paradise for sporty connoisseurs. Ski and snowboard fans will find exciting variety at all levels of difficulty. You can also go tobogganing here on the longest floodlit toboggan run in the world. A winter holiday on the Wildkogel offers all kinds of possibilities: Cross-country skiing, ski touring, horse riding, winter hiking, snowshoeing, horse riding, ice skating and curling. And if you want to experience the wild animals of the Alps in the wild, go with a national park ranger into the valleys of the Hohe Tauern National Park. An unforgettable experience!
Ski & toboggan slope at the hotel
What is pastureland for our animals at the farm resort in summer is a small ski & toboggan slope for our guests in winter. In good snow conditions, the piste is open daily and the associated rope lift can be used by our guests individually and free of charge. Sledges, bobsleighs and toboggans can be borrowed free of charge.
For our younger guests, we offer a ski dwarf course. This takes place on a small slope next to the playground. Kids between the ages of 3 and 5 gain their first experience on skis here.

World record toboggan run
Do you love tobogganing? Then an adventurous highlight awaits you here with us: your tobogganing fun will last a particularly long time on the longest floodlit toboggan run in the world!
The Smaragdbahn cable car in Bramberg takes you up to 2,100 metres above sea level to the start at the mountain station. Helmet, goggles, gloves and sturdy shoes - and off you go on a winding 14 kilometre runner down from the Wildkogel to Bramberg. You will cover a sensational 1,300 metres in altitude within approx. 30 - 50 minutes. An unrivalled experience - both during the day and at night under floodlights. If you take the Wildkogelbahn cable car from Neukirchen to the ski area, you can also reach the longest floodlit toboggan run in Bramberg in just a 10-minute walk.
Cross-country skiing
In Bramberg and Neukirchen alone, there are around 30 km of perfectly prepared and groomed cross-country ski trails. The trail leads directly past the Habachklause Family Farm Resort and has a double track for classic cross-country skiing and a skating trail. A cross-country skiing highlight is the "Pinzgau Loipe", on which you can explore the Salzach Valley in the direction of Krimml - with the world-famous Krimml Waterfalls - or in the direction of Mittersill and Zell am See.
