The General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) listed below apply. In addition, also the General Terms and Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Industry (AGBH) apply.
Travelling by public transport
We would be delighted if you travelled by environmentally friendly public transport. We will be happy to pick you up from the train or bus station. Please let us know when you book so that we can check capacities.
Allergies and food intolerances
Culinary delights and food preparation are particularly important to us at the Habachklause. Please let us know before your arrival if you have any allergies or intolerances so that our kitchen team can prepare for them.
We are obliged by law to inform you about those 14 substances or products that can cause allergies or intolerances. We refer to personal responsibility and ask you to clarify with our team before consumption whether and which ingredients are contained in the respective dishes offered. We cannot guarantee that dishes are 100% free from certain allergens. However, we will do our best to inform guests verbally about any intolerances.
ATM and credit card limits abroad including EU
Please note that many credit and debit cards have a daily, weekly and international limit. We recommend clarifying this with your bank before you go on holiday.
Booking & cancellation conditions
Payment due immediately upon booking: € 800,-
For immediate payment of the total amount a 2% discount on the room rate will be granted. Local tax and mobility tax will be charged on site.
Please note: Last minute bookings with arrival in less than 4 weeks are not eligible for the discount.
Mobility tax from May 1, 2025: € 0.50 per person (aged 15 and over) and per night for the free use of all public transport throughout the province of Salzburg.
Happy Card from Familotel:
With the Familotel Happy Card, 5% will be deducted from the room rate. The reservations team requires the card number, expiry date and date of birth of the cardholder before finalising the booking . If you don't have one yet, you can order the Happy Card online now and start saving immediately.
Cancellation conditions:

Change to the booking/rebooking:
Our reservations team must first check whether a rebooking/change to an existing booking is possible. If the rebooking/change is possible, a processing fee of € 55 will be charged. The original accommodation costs may not be reduced in the event of a rebooking/change.
General booking information
Booking guarantee:
The reservation is binding when the booking confirmation is sent. The room is firmly reserved at the time of booking, the booking guarantee is made upon receipt of the deposit. Final payment is due one week before arrival.
Travel insurance:
Familotel recommends taking out hotel cancellation insurance via Allianz Travel. In the event of cancellation, you will be charged according to the cancellation conditions.
Reimbursement of services not consumed:
If the number of persons decreases during the booked arrangement, e.g. due to early departure or interruption by the day, there is no price reduction. This also applies to services not utilised, such as childcare, meals or additional services.
Guaranteed room request: For a surcharge of €10 per night it is possible to book a fixed room number or suites with special features such as laminate flooring, carpeting, bathtub or special room layout, provided the desired room type is still available
Check-in & check-out
On the day of arrival the rooms and suites are ready for occupancy from 2 pm, on the day of departure we ask you to vacate the rooms by 10 am. The hotel inclusive services begin and end at these times.
Arrival from 7 am
If you book an Early Arrival Package, you can arrive for breakfast or lunch.
Late arrival after 8 pm
For late arrivals, we are happy to serve snacks or a cold snack platter on request. If you arrive before 10 pm, we will serve the snacks or snack platter in the restaurant, after which we will bring the order to your room. Please let us know if you are arriving after 8pm.
A late check-out is possible depending on availability. The reception team will be happy to inform you.

Pet - Holiday with dog
Dogs are allowed in selected rooms and suites. Dogs are welcome to accompany you to the restaurant for meals, please let us know when booking. Food and various accessories such as baskets or bowls are not provided by us and must be brought by yourself. If your dog stays alone in the room, this is only possible if it stays in a dog crate. The same applies if the room is cleaned by our team.
We charge € 35,- per night. We ask for your understanding that we reserve the right to charge for the final cleaning of your room.
As a pet owner, you are obliged to have valid liability insurance with a minimum sum insured of € 18,000 for any damage caused by your pet in the hotel or on the hotel grounds. Any damage will be settled directly with the repair company that repairs the damage. In the event of damage, a deposit of € 4,000 is payable immediately until the damage has been fully settled. We thank you for your understanding.
Lost & found
In the hustle and bustle of departure, it can easily happen that something is forgotten. We will be happy to send you forgotten items.
The following fees apply:
- small parcel - packaging € 7,-
- Medium parcel - packaging € 9,-
- large parcel - packaging € 12,-
- plus postage according to Post/UPS/Feedex
Electronic items, passports/personal documents or wallets may not be sent by post. In this case, we recommend that you arrange a collection service.
Found items that have not been missing for more than 2 months will be disposed of by us. We accept no liability for theft at the hotel.
Toll and winter tyre obligation in Austria / snow chains
From 1 November to 15 April, winter tyres are compulsory by law in Austria It is recommended to carry snow chains, even if they are only used extremely rarely.
Austrian motorways are subject to a toll charge. Please remember to obtain a valid road tax sticker or a digital vignette.
Since 15 December 2019, five motorway sections in Austria have been toll-free. A vignette is no longer required.
The locations that may be relevant for your journey are:

- A12 Inntal motorway (border crossing Kiefersfelden to Kufstein-Süd), Tyrol
Fair weather and snow guarantee
We do not give a fair weather or snow guarantee when booking. This is therefore not a reason for complaint or cancellation.
Late arrival or early departure
There is no discount for late arrival or early departure. Services not consumed will not be refunded.
Laundry service
We offer a laundry, drying and ironing service. The reception team will be happy to inform you.

Attention! Swift transfers are subject to charges! Bank charges to be borne by the client.
Please state the booking number with the bank transfer so that we can allocate the receipt of payment.
The hotel bill at check-out can be paid with cash in EURO, debit card or debit/credit card we accept VISA and Mastercard.
Mobility tax
The mobility tax is a statutory charge that must be levied on all overnight guests and paid to the authorities from 1 May 2025. This revenue will be used to expand local public transport and promote sustainable tourism. Guests benefit from this tax by receiving a free public transport guest ticket during their stay, which allows them free use of all public transport in Salzburger Land.
From 1 May 2025, the tax will be € 0.50 per person and overnight stay. From 1 May 2027, the contribution will be increased by law to € 1.10.
